Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. I have only one user using Visio. He does not use it every day. And unfortunately, the freezing seems to be random so reproducing it at will is difficult. I have already disabled all add-ins even though there were none listed. I have not heard anything back from my user as to whether or not that has helped. If it has not, I will try the repair option. And if that doesn't work, we'll try running in safe mode.
MS really makes me mad when they don't fix problems but instead forces you to buy another version of their software. It's just not right. Personally, I believe one should get about 10 years of use before needing to consider purchasing an upgrade.
My user is in maintenance so he's pretty busy. He doesn't use Visio every day or even every week so I've been waiting to hear from him. So far, option 3 hasn't worked.
There were no add-ins anyway. So I've run the repair option 1.
